Linda Spedding can introduce Workshops, Sessions, Trainings and Talks on Pranayama and Yoga with some explanation of Balance and the Yogic approach to life and attitude of mind and some mental exercises. Essentially Yoga is a way of life that integrates both the inner and outer self to enable a happy healthy life.
Self-Responsibility Sessions
Every day is a time and opportunity to take overall responsibility for each moment: in particular responsibility for self involves:
Self care and health management including exercise and meditation or contemplation;
Sleep and nutrition management;
Stress and anxiety management;
Time management;
Relationship and emotional management;
Financial management; and
Life planning management.
Usually practical steps include to have proper periods set aside to make notes of the priorities for the day, week or month ahead that are referred to regularly. To achieve balance a framework or structure is helpful to allow for breaks in any rigorous work period. This is not a waste of time but rather supports the ability to think more clearly and to have focus.
It is also important to reflect upon the day and check what is still outstanding to avoid becoming overloaded and any unnecessary anxiety. Negative self criticism and anger should be avoided: humour is helpful. Observing what is your best rhythm to get things done is useful but not to work all night is not a good habit even if you think you prefer nights! Maintaining balance and consistency are very important. It is critical to remember that what is done is done and not have regrets, to love oneself and to be grateful.
